What Are Alpacas?

Alpacas are adorable creatures from the camelid family, which includes llamas, guanacos and vicunas. However, unlike their larger cousin, the llama, alpacas are much smaller in size and are known for their fine, soft fleece.

These social animals have a peaceful temperament, making them great additions to farms and ranches as well as being popular in petting zoos.

With their quirky personalities and fluffy appearance, it's easy to see why alpacas have become a favourite among animal lovers worldwide.
